Solavera

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 19, 2026

Solavera connects to computers you control over SSH to run coding agents, with a live preview of your work. The short version: Solavera never collects the contents of your sessions, your code, your servers, or your location. Here's the detail.

What Solavera does not collect

  • The contents of your terminal sessions — commands, prompts, agent output, or files.
  • Your machines' hostnames or IP addresses, your repository names, or file paths.
  • Your SSH keys. They are generated and stored on your device in the iOS Keychain and are never sent to us.
  • Your location.
  • Any account or personal profile — Solavera has no login.

What we do collect

Anonymous product analytics, so we can tell whether the app works and what to improve:

  • Usage events — for example, that a connection succeeded or failed, a session started, or a feature (live preview, artifacts) was used. These carry only on/off flags and short codes, never your content or infrastructure.
  • Diagnostics — crash and error signals, to find and fix bugs.
  • Coarse device info — device type, iOS version, and app version, so we know what to support.

This data is tied to an anonymous, app-generated identifier — not your name, email, or your device's advertising ID. It is not used to track you across other apps or websites, and is never sold or shared for advertising.

Who processes it

We use PostHog for analytics, processed on PostHog Cloud (United States). We have disabled PostHog's location / GeoIP feature, so no location is derived from your network connection.

How long we keep it

We retain analytics only as long as it is useful for improving the app, under PostHog's standard retention.

Your choices

Because the data is anonymous and not linked to your identity, deleting the app stops all collection. If we add an in-app analytics toggle, we'll note it here.

Children

Solavera is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
